Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Clean Copied Text is built to be private by default. This page explains what happens to your text and what data, if any, is collected.
Your text stays in your browser
All text cleaning happens locally, in your web browser, using code that runs on your device. The text you paste is never sent to our servers and is never stored in a database. When you close or reload the page, your text is gone.
What we do not do
- We do not upload the text you paste.
- We do not store the text you paste.
- We do not require an account or login.
- We do not use external AI services to process your text in this version.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand which tools are useful and to improve the site. If analytics are used, they are not designed to capture the content of the text you paste.
Advertising and cookies
To keep Clean Copied Text free, we may display ads. When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors — including Google — may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on your visits to this and other websites. These vendors operate under their own privacy policies.
Being transparent
We will not claim absolute privacy: if ads or cookies are enabled, some non-content data may be collected by third parties as described above. What we can promise is that the text you paste is processed locally and is not part of that.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
